There is no doubt that the world is waxing worse and worse each and every day. But as one prophecy teacher so eloquently asked, “What did you expect the end times to look like?” 2 Timothy 3:1-9 says:
"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’ and Jambres’ folly was also."
That being said so how should we as born again believers respond? As I have said and will continue to trumpet, seek Truth and follow what the Word says. We as born again believers must seek the Father and rely on each other. Mathew 6:33 says:
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
As for relying on each other, Hebrews 10:25 says:
"Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."
This is not just good advice, these are words that need to be etched in our hearts and minds and we need to renew our minds and our commitment to the Father and His will for each of us every morning.
Understand this, our enemy is a defeated foe and we, as the Word says in Romans 8:37-38, are conquerors:
"But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Stop acting like we are losing, in reality, we have already won...live like it!
In CHRIST,
Rohn
