Want to Live Forever?

Updated: Mar 11

gears of a watch
Gears from an automatic watch that keep the watch wound up without the need of batteries.

I saw an article this morning on Fox News that made me chuckle.  Here was the title:

To live longer, do these 5 things every day, says a brain health expert:

1.        Stay Positive

2.        Stay Active

3.        Eat well

4.        Manage stress

5.        Take care of your health

Seems every time I read something or watch a program, everyone is obsessed with living longer. Well, I don’t have 5 things that I can contribute, but I can state beyond a shadow of a doubt that every one past present and future will live forever. Immortality has already been achieved. The question is where will my immortal body spend eternity, heaven or hell.

You see whether you want to face the truth or not, each of us will one day stand face-to-face with God. And our only ticket into His heaven was bought and paid for 2000 years ago by Jesus. The Word says in John 14:6:

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.""

Pretty cut and dry if you ask me. There is only one way into heaven and that is Jesus!  Those that do not accept His gift will spend eternity separated from God in a place called Hell.

I implore you today, if you have not called upon the name of Jesus do it today! If you have, make it your number one priority to tell someone about His awesome free gift.

Blessings to all,

Rohn

I saw a concept presented that suggested that their were 3 doors/gates that led up to the Holy of Holies and they were called Way Gate, the Truth Gate and the Life Gate. I don't know if this is true or accurate but if true, Jesus was not just speaking figuratively in John 14:6 but also literally.
